Harrisburg woman charged after kids threatened, hit with firearms: police

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — A Harrisburg woman is facing charges after police say children in her home were assaulted.

Maria Roche, 31, was arrested following a child welfare investigation where authorities found that kids who lived with Roche and her boyfriend were allegedly beaten with a belt. The kids were also threatened with and struck with firearms in the home, according to Harrisburg Bureau of Police.

As a result of the investigation, Roche was charged with two counts of aggravated assault – victim less than 13, two counts of endangering the welfare of children, and one count of simple assault…
