Dauphin County has little control over data center regulations, commissioner says

(WHTM) — Data center policy in Dauphin County is likely to be a patchwork, according to Justin Douglas, chairman of the county commissioners.

The spread of data centers has dominated borough council and zoning board meetings. At the center of it all is the fact that in Pennsylvania, without specific zoning restrictions, data centers can go just about anywhere.
