YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A York County police department announced Friday that it will be entering an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The York County Regional Police Department announced its authorization to enter a 287(g) agreement with ICE. The 287(g) agreement allows local law enforcement to be trained to perform certain immigration enforcement functions.
