Expect warmer temperatures, possible thunderstorms in week leading up to Easter

Forecasters at the National Weather Service are predicting “unseasonably mild” weather in the run-up to Easter Weekend.

While a chance of rain showers and thunderstorms will be present in central Pa., warm weather should prevail for most of the week. Sunday evening will remain mild, with lows in the low 40s and southern winds of five to ten mph, although gusts could go up to 20 mph.

Temperatures will climb into the mid-70s Tuesday and Wednesday, before cooling to the high 50s and low 60s for the rest of the week…
