Dauphin County bridge closed after tanker crash spills milk, gas

A Saturday morning crash in Dauphin County closed a bridge and prompted a response from the county’s Hazardous Materials Response Team after milk and gasoline spilled into a nearby waterway.

Around 4 a.m., a tanker truck carrying milk crashed in the area of Powells Valley Road (Route 4103) and Dividing Ridge Road in Wayne Township.

About an hour later, fire crews called the hazmat response team to the area because the tanker was spilling fuel and milk in the area…
