Dauphin County teen honored after saving his dad’s life

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Dauphin County teenager is being recognized for saving his father’s life months after a medical emergency at home turned into a life-or-death moment.

Jeremiah Stepp was honored with a Lifesaving Award from the American Red Cross after stepping in to help his father during a cardiac emergency last November.

“The second he put it down, he just collapsed on top of it… when we seen he was not breathing… I went straight to work, put him on the ground and went straight to CPR,” Jeremiah said…
