MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — Dough n Joe donut shop in Mechanicsburg is ready for Easter weekend with DIY Easter kits featuring egg-shaped donuts. The donuts in the Easter kits are designed to be decorated at home—giving families a fun, hands-on activity.
The kits include either six or twelve full-size donuts, along with icing, sprinkles and toppings like M&Ms, coconut and peanuts so customers can create their own designs.
The idea comes directly from customer feedback. After the shop offered a Christmas kit last December, owners Brad and Diane floated the concept on social media, asking what people would want to see for Easter, and the response helped shape the final product…
