Pa. man charged with attempted homicide after firing shots into occupied house: police

SELINSGROVE — A Snyder County man is facing attempted homicide and related charges after admitting firing a series of shots into a home on Stetler Avenue in Monroe Township, early Saturday evening.

Joshua Michael Barnhart, 33, of Shamokin Dam, told state police he fired the shots after he saw a female in the home point a rifle at him. No one was injured, police said.
