School goes into lockdown while Lebanon City police search for juveniles

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) — A Lebanon County school was sent into lockdown Friday as police searched for two juveniles, one of whom was seen in photos holding what looked to be a gun.

Lebanon City police said one of the juveniles sent photos of himself holding the gun, which was later found to be an airsoft gun, and it appeared they were in a vehicle on the 300 block of East Spring Street around 1 p.m. Another minor was with the juvenile.

The juveniles ran from officers as the IU-13 School was about to dismiss students, so police said they requested the school go into lockdown. When police captured the juveniles, the lockdown was lifted.
