‘No longer by our side, but forever in our heart:’ Decorated Dauphin County K-9 passes

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A police department is mourning the loss of a retired and decorated K-9 that helped officers make more than 100 arrests and seize hundreds of pounds of drugs.

The Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police announced Friday the passing of K-9 Rex. He served the department from 2015 until he retired in 2023.
