Bear family caught on camera strolling through Dauphin County neighborhood

While the humans sleep away, the bears are out to play.

Five bears took an early morning walk around 1:30 a.m. Sunday outside Linglestown in Dauphin County.

Doorbell camera footage captured by Sylvia Petrilla shows the bears casually strolling down the sidewalk, past her house, then proceeding on their way.

Petrilla said she put the camera up in early 2025 and caught one bear on it last spring. That bear, however, did not like her garden flag, and after he passed it, he turned around and ripped it right down the middle…
