York couple pleads guilty to keeping mom ‘fenced’ in basement: court documents

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Hanover couple pleaded guilty to felony charges of abusing a care-dependent person after a woman was found “fenced” and alone in their basement, court documents show.

Ashlee and Brian Brady, both 32, pleaded guilty on Monday to charges related to the reported abuse of a 68-year-old woman with severe dementia after she was found locked in the basement covered in her own feces on Feb. 5, 2024.
