Central Pa. man who threatened to ‘take out’ lawyer over legal woes learns sentence

A York man who threatened his attorney, a judge and others after getting “bad news” about a legal case of his was sentenced at the end of April.

Bennett L. Zifferer, 44, of York, pleaded guilty to terroristic threats and was sentenced to five years’ probation with the stipulation that he will receive a mental health evaluation and comply with treatment recommendations.
