(KRON) — A Foster City restaurant is going viral after a screenshot of its policy toward diners with children was posted online. Chez Xue, which according to its website, was voted best restaurant in Foster City, is a Chinese spot located in downtown Foster City.
While Yelp reviews have praised the restaurant’s Green Onion Pancake, Godfather’s Noodles, and Cilantro Beef, it’s Chez Xue’s strict policy on children that’s currently making a stir online.
A section of the restaurant’s menu posted on X titled, “Please control your children,” reads, “Chez Xue is a family-friendly restaurant. However, we are not a playground.”

The menu goes to ask guests to ensure children remain seated at all times, be respectful of fellow guests and the dining environment.
