Toddler rescued from Pleasanton rollover vehicle collision

(KRON) — Pleasanton police believe a distracted driver led to a rollover vehicle collision on Wednesday morning, when they had to rescue a toddler.

Police said the incident happened at 9:10 a.m. on Carver Court near the intersection of Alvord Way. Two vehicles were involved in the collision, including an unoccupied parked vehicle.

When officers arrived, they found the driver out of the vehicle and the driver’s three-year-old child still buckled in the child safety seat “while the vehicle rested precariously on two wheels.” There were only minor abrasions sustained in the incident.

“Thanks for the quick response from the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department, the vehicle was safely stabilized, and the child was carefully rescued. Aside from a minor injury, the child is doing well,” added police in a social media post on Thursday…
