(KRON) — A “peck-culiar” rescue is racking up millions of views online. The Oakland Fire Department said its Engine 29 crew took some time to help out a little feathered friend on Tuesday evening.
OFD said firefighters just finished putting out a vehicle fire when they spotted a pigeon in distress.
“The crew reported the pigeon came up to them seeking help,” said OFD in a social media post Wednesday. “The pigeon seemed to have suffered some smoke inhalation from the vehicle fire.”…
