Contra Costa County Fire provided mutual aid on a 4-alarm vegetation fire in Benicia at I-680 at N. Bayshore Rd. The fire caused CHP to issue a SIGALERT and blocked lanes of traffic as fire crews worked. Smoke from the fire was visible from Contra Costa County. The fire was under control by 3:30 pm.
