Heat surged across San Francisco on Tuesday, but Wednesday may be even hotter, with forecast highs in the 90s potentially marking the city’s highest temperatures in two years.
The hot weather didn’t waste any time Tuesday morning. San Francisco’s official thermometer in Mint Hill hit 82 degrees at noon, 7 degrees higher than the same time Monday. That put the city in line to reach the upper 80s to low 90s by the afternoon. Similar temperatures are expected in Oakland.
