PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA – A 19-year-old Pleasanton man has been arrested in an investigation into dozens of commercial burglaries across three Bay Area counties, including the destructive Sept. 10 spree that struck businesses throughout Pleasanton.
Juan Luis Valdez-Luevano was taken into custody Sept. 16 at the Alameda County Probation Office in Dublin, shortly before he was scheduled to meet with his probation officer, according to a San Ramon Police Department announcement.
Officers from San Ramon and Dublin made the arrest on a warrant obtained in Contra Costa County. At roughly the same time, investigators from San Ramon and Pleasanton served search warrants on Valdez-Luevano’s vehicle and his home on Vineyard Avenue in Pleasanton…
