A man and woman were found fatally shot outside a home in an affluent California neighborhood.
Oakland and Berkeley police officers responded to reports of gunshots at a residence in Oakland Hills, a neighborhood near the University of California, Berkeley campus, on Friday, Oct. 2, at about 10:45 a.m. local time, according to a press conference held by Oakland Police Department Assistant Chief Casey Johnson that same day.
When they arrived at the scene, police found a 61-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman who “appeared to be married” outside a home suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers attempted to provide lifesaving measures, but both individuals died of their injuries…
