The following is from the Walnut Creek Police Department:. A Suisun City man remains in custody following an assault in March. On March 2, 2024, shortly after 12:30 a.m., Walnut Creek Police Department patrol officers responded to the 1500 Block of N. Main St. on a reported disturbance. When they arrived on scene, they located a victim on the ground with a head wound. Through the initial investigation they determined that the victim had been struck in the head with the stock end of a rifle. The suspect had fled the area prior to officers arriving on scene.
