On Thursday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of a fire in a field on Lone Tree Way in the City of Brentwood.
According to preliminary information, upon firefighter arrival just after 7:15 pm, the fire was estimated at 1/4 acres at Lone Tree Way near O’Hara Avenue. However, the fire quickly spread to 1.5 acre. CONFIRE then updated it to 3-acres in size with no structures threatened. Additional resources were requested by 7:25 pm
The Brentwood Police Department and CHP were also on scene to provide traffic control and shut down a portion of Lone Tree Way…
