(KRON) — A 50-year-old San Francisco man was found with bloodied knuckles while drunk driving after he had just punched and “completely shattered” a glass window of a popular Irish bar in South San Francisco, said police.

The Colma Police Department said officers responded at 1:58 a.m. on May 18 to Molloy’s Tavern, located on the 1600 block of Mission Road, but said the driver had already left the scene.
A bar employee told police that the man — later identified as Thomas McGinnis — “became upset when he was told the business was closing for the night and punched the glass window with his fists.” The business said the damage is totaled at $1,000.
