Oakland firefighters extinguished a blaze started late Tuesday night that burned hundreds of portable toilets, officials said.
The Oakland Fire Department said crews responded on Tuesday before midnight to a fire at 92nd Avenue and San Leandro Street, south of the Coliseum and near overhead BART tracks. The outside fire started along a fence line before spreading to a rental yard, which was storing hundreds of porta potties, the fire department said.
