SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — Police officers fired a barrage of bullets and killed a homicide suspect in the Berryessa neighborhood of San Jose, according to neighbors and law enforcement officials. The San Jose Police Department officers’ shooting happened on Sunday afternoon near Cataldi Park on the north side of the city.
A homicide suspect allegedly stabbed a victim to death not long before the clash with police, according to SJPD. Officers were investigating the stabbing when the shooting broke out, police said.
