Woman killed by falling tree branches while hiking in Yosemite

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (FOX26) — 29-year-old Angela Shih Lin, from the San Francisco Bay Area, died on July 19th when she was hit by falling tree branches while hiking with friends in Yosemite National Park.

Lin was an avid swing dancer, frequently attending events such as Wednesday Night Hop and Bal Haus in San Francisco.

Her family says Lin’s love for music was evident as she enjoyed singing and playing guitar, participating in choir groups during her high school years in Monterey Park, and at the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated in 2017…
