The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man who died Tuesday in a vehicle crash in Pleasant Hill.
The man was identified as Concord resident Frank Cazares, Jr., 20. Authorities said he died after his vehicle crashed and overturned on the Monument Boulevard off-ramp from northbound Interstate Highway 680 in Pleasant Hill at 8:14 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators determined Cazares was driving a silver Lexus SUV in the slow lane on the highway when he veered right toward the off-ramp, then lost control of the vehicle as it went up an embankment and overturned. Cazares was ejected from the vehicle…
