Danville restaurant announces closure after less than two years of operation

(KRON) – A Danville Italian restaurant that opened last year informed its patrons that it is closing shop. Isola Osteria is set for closure on the last Saturday of August.

Isola Osteria said that the decision to shut down was not “an easy decision.” In the social media post, the establishment said the owner’s family faced “serious health challenges,” which is prompting them to spend more time with family.

The eatery thanked its guests. “For the last year and a half, this little place has been more than a restaurant—it’s been an extension of our home, our culture, and our family,” Isola Osteria said on its social media.
