A bus ride during the morning rush hour turned violent Wednesday when a man attacked a bus driver with a large knife in San Jose.
A 23-year-old San Jose man is facing multiple felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and elder abuse, after he allegedly attacked a Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority bus driver.
The man was reportedly pulling the stop release cord repeatedly on a bus around 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning when the bus driver confronted him, according to a social media post by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
