(KRON) — Six vehicles were towed in connection several illegal sideshows that took place in Oakland Sunday, including a fiery sideshow that blocked the intersection of 41st and Howe streets, according to the Oakland Police Department.
Roughly 500 people took part in the sideshow event, which lasted from 2:15 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., according to Oakland’s police officers union. Video of the scene shows fireworks flying into crowds, drivers performing donuts in packed streets and a car set ablaze in the intersection.
