Bay Area driver allegedly hit multiple pedestrians near UC Berkeley intentionally

A 26-year-old man from Vallejo was arrested on suspicion of purposely hitting several people with a stolen car near UC Berkeley.

The “deliberate” crashes happened Tuesday morning as the suspect allegedly drove a stolen car from Richmond, Jessica Perry, a spokesperson for the Berkeley Police Department, told SFGATE.
