Berkeley carjacking suspect who struck 3 people identified, arrested

(KRON) – Berkeley police have identified and arrested the suspect who carjacked a vehicle and hit three people, per authorities.

Vallejo resident Ivan Salvador Ochoa Munguia has been charged with multiple felonies following his arrest, according to the Berkeley Police Department.

On Tuesday, Munguia, 26, carjacked a vehicle and struck a man walking his dog and a woman who was jogging on the sidewalk in the 2700 block of Belrose Avenue. Police said Munguia then fled.

A third adult victim, according to police, was located on Derby Street and was taken to a local hospital…
