On November 14, 2025, Sprouts Farmers Market opened at 1188 E. 14th St. in Downtown San Leandro. The store is part of the Centro Callan mixed-use development. It offers fresh and organic foods to the community.
The opening created about 95 jobs. Local officials expect the store to increase tax revenue and bring more visitors to downtown.
