Oakland fundraising platform asked to stop operations immediately

A fundraising platform in Oakland is under scrutiny from the state’s attorney general and being asked to immediately stop all of its operations.

According to California Attorney General Rob Bonta, Flipcause has delayed transferring a total of $500 thousand donated funds to non-profit organizations across the country.

Some of those organizations include the GOALS Athletic League in New York who’ve reported more than $47.5 thousand being withheld…
