(KRON) — Traffic on eastbound Highway 4 was backed up for miles following a fatal crash in Antioch on Monday. The crash occurred around 10:40 a.m. just east of Somersville Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two right lanes of eastbound Highway 4 were reopened just before 1 p.m. Motorists were being routed off the highway at Loveridge Road in Pittsburg, CHP said.
There is no estimated time for the roadway to fully reopen.
