OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA – One of the coolest activities at the Oakland Zoo is the ride-on train that cruises through the zoo’s Australia exhibit.
You board the train just outside the zoo’s entrance, and it takes you through a special double-gated fence and into an enclosure filled with emus, wallabies and wallaroos (basically, smaller kangaroos).
Typically, they hop around right next to the train, offering delightful sights for visitors…
