The California Highway Patrol’s Golden Gate Division Air Operations chronicled the event in a social media post, detailing how their helicopter unit, CHP H-30, assisted ground Crime Suppression Teams in tracking down a stolen vehicle. According to the post from CHP Golden Gate Division Air Operations, the aerial crew spotted a car matching the description of one reported stolen and confirmed its identity through coordination with @chp_goldengatecc.

The ground units, informed by H-30, attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver tried immediately to evade capture, prompting the ground response to back off. This allowed the helicopter crew to continue monitoring the suspect’s movements safely.
