(KRON) — The Fremont Fire Department said there were thankfully no injuries after a cooking fire Tuesday ripped through one apartment unit and caused damage to another.
FFD said fire crews responded to the blaze at a multi-family residence on Esguerra Terrace.
“Our crews were met with heavy fire conditions on arrival,” according to Fremont Fire.
