MORAGA, CALIFORNIA – It always delighted me, and said something about Moraga, that next to the glitzy new Starbucks drive-thru and Bank of America, you could find a saddle store.
Not just saddles, either. Moraga’s favorite equestrian store apparently sold everything you needed to properly attire yourself and your horse for riding–blankets, boots, helmets, the whole 9 yards.
Now, sadly, this store is no more.
Dover Saddlery’s Moraga store at 444 Center St. has closed permanently, according to a closure notice posted by the company for the location…
