A capacity crowd filled “Radio Central”, the home of the California Historical Radio Society, to salute the Bay Area Radio Museum and Hall of Fame’s Legendary Station for 2026, Live 105 (KITS-FM). The event featured appearances by many of the people who launched the influential alternative-rock format on the station in 1986, as well as others who played a role at the station over its 40-year history.
Bay Area Radio Museum and Hall of Fame operating committee chair Stan Bunger and current Live 105 morning host Marci Wiser served as hosts for the evening.
