Yuba County deputies disrupt Oakland fentanyl network

(FOX40.COM) — An Oakland fentanyl supply network responsible for distributing the deadly synthetic opioid into the Sacramento Valley and surrounding areas has been dismantled after a weeks-long investigation.

Two suspects were arrested and roughly 4 pounds of fentanyl were seized in Oakland on Feb. 3 after a coordinated operation that originated with an arrest in Yuba County weeks earlier, county sheriff’s deputies announced in a press release.

A fentanyl dealer in possession of about 10 ounces of the drug operating in Yuba County was arrested in January by sheriff’s deputies, they said. That sparked an investigation to identify and dismantle the source of the operation…
