Oakland man arrested in Ukiah on suspicion of attempted murder

UKIAH, CA., 2/10/26 – Ukiah police arrested an Oakland man on suspicion of attempted murder over the weekend for allegedly attacking his two elderly friends with a skateboard at their North Oak Street home.

On Saturday at about 7:30 p.m., 37-year-old Clarence Wells of Oakland called Ukiah police to report that his friends, a 75-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman, weren’t breathing and needed medical attention, according to police officials.
