What started as a simple traffic stop attempt in Vallejo today turned into a high-speed trip across county lines, ending with a wrecked vehicle, three people in custody, and three loaded guns off the street, according to deputies.
In a Facebook post, the Solano County Sheriff’s Office said Patrol Team 4 deputies tried to pull over a vehicle, but the driver took off, triggering a pursuit that rolled through Vallejo and into neighboring Contra Costa County. Deputies said the chase ended abruptly when the fleeing vehicle hit a curb in Contra Costa.
