Bay Area earthquake was ‘most significant’ since last April: expert

An earthquake struck California’s Bay Area early Thursday, April 2, at around 1:41 a.m. local time.

It was “the most significant earthquake in terms of magnitude and the number of people alerted since April of last year,” according to Suresh Raman, MyShake lead at the UC Berkeley Seismology Lab.
