Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater Quietly End Relationship After Three Years

Additional Coverage:

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have reportedly ended their relationship after nearly three years together.

The pair, who met while working on the 2024 musical hit “Wicked,” quietly went their separate ways several months ago, according to multiple sources. A close insider told People magazine, “It’s amicable, they gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways. They are still friends and very supportive of one another.”

Grande, 32, and Slater, 34, went public with their romance in 2024 ahead of the “Wicked” release, in which Grande starred as Glinda the Good, and Slater played Munchkin and future Tin Man, Boq. Their relationship attracted attention partly because both had recently ended previous marriages-Grande to real estate agent Dalton Gomez, and Slater to psychologist Lilly Jay, his high school sweetheart with whom he shares a child.

Recently, Slater concluded the off-Broadway run of “Marcel on the Run,” a play he co-wrote and starred in as mime artist Marcel Marceau. Meanwhile, Grande kicked off her Eternal Sunshine tour in Oakland, marking her first tour since 2019. She is scheduled for five shows in Los Angeles starting June 13.

Grande has suggested that this tour might be her final one for quite some time. Speaking on the “Good Hang With Amy Poehler” podcast, she described the tour as a “last hurrah,” expressing excitement to give it her all.

Her new album, “Petal,” is set for release on July 31.
