Megan Fox recently shared a bold lingerie photoshoot that has fans buzzing, sparking speculation that it might be a sneak peek at Jennifer’s Body 2. While most of her followers showered her with compliments, praising her stunning looks, one detractor wasn’t so kind.
Among glowing remarks like “The most beautiful woman on earth” and “Beautiful dark angel,” a critic took a jab, writing, “This sh** is so unbelievably embarrassing for a 40-year-old mom to be posting. 16-year-old Tumblr stuff.”
It’s true-Fox is 40 and a mother of four: Noah (2012), Bodhi (2014), and Journey (2016) with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green, and one-year-old Saga Blade Fox-Baker (2025) with her former fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. But calling her photos “embarrassing” doesn’t seem to reflect the general sentiment-or Fox’s own.
The actress fired back at the troll with a sharp retort, asking, “Which one of my exes is this?” Fans quickly rallied behind her, with responses such as, “I genuinely don’t think she would care about what you think,” and “Not as embarrassing as a grown man creating troll accounts to pester celebrities.”
One supporter highlighted the absurdity of the critique, stating, “Her being 40 means she has to wear turtleneck sweaters and granny panties? Is she supposed to seclude herself in her basement, knitting sweaters while drinking prune juice?
You’re acting like she’s 80.” Others chimed in with remarks like, “When a 40-year-old mother of four children looks like that, well duh yes 100%,” and, “Age has nothing to do with how you dress or express yourself through artistic outlets.
Once you become a mom and hit 40, you don’t have to start wearing ugly, unflattering clothes and stay at home with your only activities being collecting knick-knacks and following conspiracy theories on Facebook.”
While there’s no question Megan looks incredible in these images, some fans speculated whether the photo series was a teaser for her upcoming movie. When asked, “Is this a Jennifer’s Body 2 tease?” Megan replied with a playful shrug and hand-over-mouth emoji, leaving the question open.
Last October, amidst rumors that Diablo Cody was writing the sequel, Jennifer’s Body director Karyn Kusama told Deadline, “I know she’s working on it right now, and I’m very excited to hear what comes of it.” More recently, reports surfaced that Jennifer’s Body 2, starring Fox alongside Amanda Seyfried, could begin filming as soon as this October.
