Los Angeles Rams tackle Alaric Jackson will not face felony charges following an offseason domestic battery allegation. However, he may enter a diversion program instead of facing misdemeanor prosecution, a move that could lead to another suspension under the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy.
Despite the ongoing situation, Jackson is currently participating in Rams training camp. Head coach Sean McVay confirmed Jackson’s presence and stated that he “will be a part of what we’re doing.” McVay emphasized the team’s commitment to cooperating with both the legal system and the league to gather all necessary information, aiming to make informed decisions and use the circumstances as learning opportunities.
This is not Jackson’s first run-in with the Personal Conduct Policy. He was previously suspended for two games due to a separate incident. That prior suspension may result in a harsher penalty this time around, potentially exceeding the standard six-game suspension typically imposed for domestic violence cases.
Jackson, 28, has been a consistent starter since 2023 and is under contract through 2026 with a base salary of $18.925 million, including $1.45 million in per-game roster bonuses.
