British Columbia’s natural beauty is legendary, especially along Vancouver Island’s coastline. Kayaking in Johnstone Strait provided close encounters with Steller sea lions and playful river otters, while the glacier-carved channel itself is a stunning sight-and if you’re lucky, you might spot humpback whales.
Nearby, picturesque villages like Telegraph Cove and Hanson Islands add cultural charm. For hikers, trails such as Haddington Beach and Salmon River Estuary offer peaceful escapes.
