Florida Woman Faces Charges After Allegedly Throwing Feces at Neighbor Over Affair Accusation
OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – A 50-year-old Florida woman is facing serious charges after an unusual and disturbing incident involving her neighbor at a mobile home park. Yirsi Machado Rivera stands accused of burglary and battery following an altercation that took place on September 7 at the Royal Country Mobile Homes community in Opa-locka, a city within the Miami metropolitan area.
According to court documents, Rivera and the victim reside on opposite sides of a split trailer. The conflict began when Rivera reportedly began banging on her neighbor’s door, accusing her of having an affair with Rivera’s husband. The situation escalated quickly, with Rivera allegedly forcing her way inside the neighbor’s home and shoving the resident.
The most shocking part of the confrontation came when Rivera allegedly threw a bucket containing human feces at the neighbor before leaving the residence. Police were called to the scene, and Rivera was arrested.
At the police station, Rivera admitted to using a bucket for human waste due to a broken toilet in her home but claimed she was merely trying to dispose of it. She also alleged that the victim hit her on the head with a bat during the dispute, causing a head injury. However, she denied entering the neighbor’s home or throwing the feces.
Notably, the charging documents include a statement contradicting her denial, noting that Rivera reportedly told a witness she had defecated in a bucket with the intent of throwing it at the neighbor.
Following her arrest, Rivera was held in pre-trial detention at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center after prosecutors requested bond be denied.
The case remains under investigation as authorities continue to review the circumstances surrounding this unusual and unsettling incident.
