Jinger and Joy-Anna Duggar Launch New Podcast Five Years After Show Ended

Additional Coverage:

Jinger Duggar and Joy-Anna Duggar have announced an exciting new chapter in their careers, five years after the cancellation of TLC’s Counting On.

On September 9, the sisters, who first rose to fame on 19 Kids and Counting, introduced their new podcast titled Call Your Sister.

In a video shared on Instagram, 32-year-old Jinger explained, “Well, guys, we have some pretty life-altering conversations on the phone. Like, literally life-altering.”

Sitting beside her 28-year-old sister Joy-Anna, she continued, “For one, this studio is a different color. It’s very blue.

We added some accents behind us because, drumroll, we’re starting the Call Your Sister podcast!”

Jinger hinted there was even more big news coming, saying, “And, y’all, that’s not even the biggest news. That’s huge news.

But we have such exciting news that we’re sharing here on the pod.” The video then cut off as Joy-Anna gave a knowing look to the camera – a subtle reveal that she is expecting her fourth child.

Jinger and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, had launched The Jinger & Jeremy Podcast in July 2024, though Jeremy’s appearances have become less frequent lately. Joy-Anna has stepped in to co-host alongside Jinger, while Jeremy takes on the role of producer as he balances a busy schedule.

“He’s just in a very busy season of life, working a full-time job. He’s also trying to finish his Doctor of Ministry degree and starting a Bible study,” Jinger shared during the first episode of Call Your Sister.

“Since he’s in such a busy season, he’s going to be the producer of this podcast and help us out a little bit.”

The Duggar family first gained widespread attention through TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting, which aired from 2008 to 2015 and featured Jinger, Joy-Anna, their 17 siblings, and parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar. The family continued to be in the spotlight with the spinoff Counting On, which ran from 2015 until its cancellation in 2021 following various controversies.

Currently, Jinger is a mother to three children: Felicity, 8; Evangeline, 5; and Finnegan, 1. Joy-Anna and her husband Austin Forsyth have three children as well – Gideon, 8; Evelyn, 6; and Gunner, 3 – with a fourth baby on the way.

This new podcast marks an exciting return to media for the sisters as they share their lives and perspectives with listeners once again.
